By Owners. For Owners.

R1100S.eu exists because the BMW R1100S deserves a better home than scattered forum threads, expired links and half-remembered advice.

It was never the obvious BMW. Too sporty for some, too practical for others, and never produced in huge numbers. That is exactly why it has become interesting. The R1100S sits in a small, slightly unusual corner of BMW history — part sport bike, part long-distance machine, entirely its own thing.

This site brings together the knowledge that matters: model history, buying advice, workshop guides, original specifications, parts, upgrades and the people still riding them.

Whether you are buying your first bike, restoring a BoxerCup, chasing a fault, or simply trying to understand what makes the R1100S different, you are in the right place.

An International Community

Although the project is based in Europe, R1100S.eu is an international community for BMW R1100S owners everywhere. Whether you’re riding in Germany, Australia, Japan, Canada or the United States, you’re part of the same story.

The name R1100S.eu was not our first choice. We’d have loved to build this project on R1100S.com, but that domain has long been registered by a domain squatter and isn’t being used for the community.

A Community Project

R1100S.eu is built by enthusiasts and supported by the community. We encourage every owner to contribute with workshop guides, maintenance tips, ride reports, restoration stories, historical information, photos and technical knowledge.

Together we can preserve not only the motorcycles themselves, but also the experience, expertise and friendships that make the R1100S community unique.

R1100S.eu is not affiliated with or endorsed by BMW AG or BMW Motorrad.
